1. Respect for Intellectual Property
CUB SOFTWARE respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our Services to do the same. We comply with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Our Services are designed for personal, non-commercial use and should only be used to download, process, or share content that you have the legal right to access and use.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Copyright Policy applies to all CUB SOFTWARE services, including but not limited to:
- Social Media Saver — Media download tool
- File Converter, Image Editor, PDF Tools, Video Compressor, Audio Trimmer — File and media processing
- Resume Builder, Invoice Generator, Markdown Editor, Notepad, Sticky Board — Document and productivity tools
- Link Shortener (cubsw.link) — URL shortening service
- CleanMe Website — Discord server template sharing platform
- Stream Overlays, CubPresence, Multi-Twitch — Streaming tools
- Affiliate Program — Vanity links and affiliate content
- All other CUB SOFTWARE tools and services at cubsoftware.site
3. Important Disclaimer - Our Role as a Tool Provider
CUB SOFTWARE operates as a tool provider. We do NOT:
- Host, store, or permanently retain copyrighted content
- Own any content that users download, process, or share through our Services
- Control what content users choose to access or download
- Encourage or endorse copyright infringement
- Have editorial control over third-party content
Our Services function as neutral tools that:
- Retrieve publicly accessible content from third-party platforms at the user's direction
- Process files that users voluntarily upload
- Generate shortened URLs for destinations chosen by users
- Display user-submitted server templates on the CleanMe Website
Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to download, use, and share any content.
4. User Responsibility
By using our Services, users represent and warrant that:
- They have the legal right to access, download, or process the content in question
- Their use of downloaded content complies with all applicable copyright laws
- They will not use our Services to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
- They understand that they bear sole responsibility for any consequences of their actions
- Content is being used for personal, non-commercial purposes unless proper licenses are obtained
CUB SOFTWARE is not liable for how users choose to use downloaded or processed content.
5. DMCA Compliance
CUB SOFTWARE complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content accessible through our Services infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice.
Your notice must include ALL of the following:
- Physical or Electronic Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
- Identification of Copyrighted Work: Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list)
- Identification of Infringing Material: Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., specific URLs, shortened links, or content identifiers)
- Contact Information: Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- Accuracy Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
6.1 Important Notes on DMCA Notices
- Incomplete notices may not be processed
- False or misleading DMCA notices may result in legal liability under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(f)
- We may forward your notice to the user who posted the allegedly infringing content
- We aim to respond to valid DMCA notices within 5-10 business days
7. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was wrongly removed due to a DMCA notice, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which CUB SOFTWARE may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed content within 10-14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action.
8. Link Shortener (cubsw.link) - Special Provisions
Regarding our Link Shortener service:
- We do not host the content at destination URLs - we only provide shortened redirect links
- DMCA notices for content at destination URLs should be directed to the hosting provider of that content
- However, we may disable shortened links that redirect to infringing content upon receiving valid notice
- We reserve the right to disable any shortened link at our discretion
9. CleanMe Website - Server Templates
Regarding server templates shared on the CleanMe Website:
- Server templates contain structural data (channel names, role names, categories) - not messages or copyrighted content
- If a server template contains trademarked names or infringes on intellectual property, we will remove it upon valid notice
- Users who submit templates warrant that they have the right to share the server structure
10. User-Generated Content
For user-generated content on our Services (shared resumes, sticky boards, etc.):
- Users are responsible for ensuring their content does not infringe third-party rights
- We will remove infringing content upon receiving valid DMCA notice
- Repeat infringers may have their access to our Services terminated
11. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts or access of users who are repeat infringers. We may also limit access to our Services and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
12. Fair Use
Users should be aware of fair use principles under copyright law, which may permit limited use of copyrighted material without permission for purposes such as:
- Criticism and commentary
- News reporting
- Teaching and education
- Research and scholarship
- Parody
Fair use is a legal doctrine with specific factors considered by courts. We encourage users to familiarize themselves with fair use principles. Fair use is determined on a case-by-case basis and is not a blanket exception.

CUBSOFTWARE, cubsoftware.site, cubsw.link, and associated logos are trademarks or service marks of CUBSOFTWARE. Other product and company names mentioned on our Services may be trademarks of their respective owners.
The use of any trademark on our Services does not imply endorsement by the trademark owner.
